惧怕否定评价在手机依赖与自尊间的中介效应——对女大学生手机依赖的探讨

The Mediating Effect of Fear of Negative Evaluation on Mobile Phone Addiction and self-esteem:A Probe into the Mobile Phone Addiction among Female College Students

惧怕否定评价在女大学生手机依赖与自尊间的中介作用值得探讨。这一探讨通过整群抽样调查的方式进行。在湖南省长沙市抽取817名在校大学女生,使用“手机依赖量表”(MPAI)、“整体自尊量表”(SES)、“惧怕否定评价量表”(FNE)等进行了问卷调查。数据显示,一是手机依赖与自尊存在显著负相关,与惧怕否定评价存在显著正相关;二是惧怕否定评价在自尊与手机依赖间起到部分中介作用,中介效应占总效应的比例为63%。从调查中可以发现,自尊是影响手机依赖的重要因素,不仅可以直接对手机依赖产生影响,还可以通过惧怕否定评价,间接对手机依赖产生影响。

The mediating role of fear of negative evaluation among female college students between mobile phone addiction and self-esteem is worth exploring. This study is based on a sample survey with 817 female college students participating in it, which applies mobile phone addiction index scale (MPAI), fear of negative evaluation (FNE) and self-esteem scale (SES). Results show as follows: firstly, mobile phone addiction has a significant negative correlation with self-esteem and a significant positive correlation with fear of negative evaluation. Secondly, fear of negative evaluation partially plays an intermediary role between self-esteem and mobile phone addiction, with the proportion of 63% of the total effect. From the survey, we can find that self-esteem is an important factor affecting mobile phone addiction. Not only can it directly affect mobile phone addiction, but also bring indirect effect through fear of negative evaluation.
