公共图书馆老年读者借阅习惯实证研究——以浙江图书馆为例

An Empirical Study on the Borrowing Habits of Older Readers in Public Libraries ——Illustrated by the Example of Zhejiang Library

在不断加快的人口老龄化趋势下,公共图书馆作为社会大众学习、交流和休闲的场所,适应老龄化社会,更好地为老年读者服务,是其义不容辞的责任和义务。文章以浙江图书馆为例,通过对老年读者的借阅量、借阅兴趣、到馆时间和地域分布等开展定量调查统计,了解本地区老年读者的文化需求和借阅特征,并将老年读者和中青年读者进行对比研究,分析其差异及产生差异的原因,从而就老年读者服务提出更有针对性的建议,以期为老年读者提供更适宜的图书馆环境。

With the elderly population getting larger,public libraries are responsible to serve as a place for the general public to learn,communicate and relax,while adapt to the aging society,and better serve the elderly readers.Taking the Zhejiang Library as an example,the article conducts a quantitative survey and analyzes the borrowing volume,borrowing interest,time and geographical distribution of the elderly readers,and tries to understand the cultural needs and borrowing characteristics of the elderly readers in the region.The author conducted a comparative study to analyze the differences between the elder and young readers and the reasons for the differences,so as to provide more targeted suggestions to improve the services for the elderly readers and to provide a more suitable library environment for the elderly readers.
