聚焦核心素养:美国新一代MCAS的新样态及其启示

Focus Core Competencies: The Form and Revelation of the Next-Generation MCAS

摘要 美国马塞诸塞州于2018年启动新一代基础教育“学业综合评价体系”(MCAS)。该体系根据21世纪对人的发展的新要求,聚焦于核心素养的培养,突出以英语、数学为代表的核心科目及核心知识,体现出核心素养的基础性;注重学生信息素养的培养,体现出核心素养的时代性;注重改进评价标准,激发学生的学习动机,提升学生的自我期望值和内驱力。该体系显现出学业综合评价的一种新取向、新样态,对我国中小学学业评价制度的改进和核心素养的培养有积极的启示意义。 Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education put forward the Next-Generation MCAS in 2008.This system aims at the needs of human development in the 21 st century, the new system focuses on the cultivation of core competencies, emphasizes English and math as the core subjects and core knowledge, and condenses the foundation of core competencies. Secondly, it focuses on the cultivation of students’ information literacy in order to comply with the requirements of the core competencies. Thirdly, it modifies evaluation standard and stimulates students’ motivation to use the inner drive of core quality.The system shows a new orientation and a new form of comprehensive evaluation of studies, which has positive implications for the improvement of the evaluation system and the cultivation of core competencies of Chinese primary and secondary schools.
