“片头警示声明”翻译:凸显译语“通告文”语域特征

Translation of the “Warnings” and “Disclaimers” of Film Leader in TL Register Perspective

"片头警示声明"翻译,是影视作品翻译中一个时常遇到的实际问题,一直以来却很少受到关注。本文就此类"警示声明"的文体风格和行文特色进行了相应探讨和分析,并指出:此类"警示声明"带有鲜明的通告"语域"特征,但由于汉、英、俄各自相应的体裁规约不尽一致,导致其在遣词用字和行文风格上产生较大差异。因此,在此类文本翻译中,译者应尽可能遵从译语的体裁规约,突显译语中此类文告的"语域"特征,顺应译语行文风格和语言习惯,以利"片头警示声明"在译语环境中发挥其应有作用。

Translation of the"warnings"and"disclaimers"in the film leader,as a practical issue often to be encountered in audiovisual translation,seems to have drawn little attention. This thesis offers a discussion on the analysis of such warnings’ writing style and language features,with a view to noticing that such warnings are embodied distinctively with a register feature of the announcement.But there exists big differences in the warning’s writing style and language usages due to the different genre conventions of different language contexts. Therefore in such warnings’ translation,the translator should try as much as possible,by focusing on TL register feature of the announcement,to follow the TL genre conventions based on its language usages and writing style so as to facilitate its role played in congruence with the TL environment.
