摘要
为了给相似类型的高密度光纤连接器的研制提供参考,介绍了基于MT插芯的96芯低损耗气密光纤连接器的研制。通过对该光纤连接器的接触件、准直结构、气密结构的介绍,分析了该光纤连接器设计过程中的关键技术和设计思想,并简单描述了该光纤连接器的制作工艺,总结了连接器在抛光和装配操作中相关的注意事项。试验结果证明了该光纤连接器可以实现插入损耗≤0.5 dB,气密性能≤1×10^(-9) Pa·m^3/s。
To provide reference for the development of similar types of high-density optical fiber connectors, the development of 96-core low loss airtight optical fiber connector based on MT ferrule is introduced. By introducing the contact element, collimation structure and airtight structure of the optical fiber connector, the key technologies and design ideas in the design process of the optical fiber connector are analyzed. The manufacturing process of the optical fiber connector is briefly described, and the matters needing attention in polishing and assembling operation of the optical fiber connector are summarized. The test results show that the optical fiber connector can achieve insertion loss ≤0.5 dB, and air-tightness performance ≤1×10-9 Pa·m3/s.
