For highway engineering,whether the subgrade is stable and reliable is directly related to its operational comfort and safety,while the subgrade stability is affected by both the bearing capacity of foundation and the nature of roadbed filling soil.This article analyzes the importance of roadbed stability in highway engineering,discusses the key points and quality control measures for roadbed earthwork and stonework filling construction technology in highway engineering,and introduces the subgrade earthwork and stonework filling construction method by combining the engineering examples of 5th section in Hezhou-Bama Expressway.
