Professor JIA Liujin’s Experience in the Treatment of Epilepsy in Children

介绍贾六金治疗儿童癫痫的临证经验。根据癫痫病机特点,将癫痫分为发作期与休止期进行辨治。认为癫痫发作期证型以痰痫为主,故当化痰熄风以定痫,予涤痰汤加减,佐以平肝止痉定痫之品。休止期则以脾肾虚损、心神失养为主,治予调补脾肾以培本、养血宁心以安神,常用可保立苏汤加减。强调治疗过程中用药宜平和,勿戕伐正气。

This paper introduced Professor JIA Liujin's clinical experience in the treatment of children. Based on pathogenic characteristics of epilepsy,epilepsy was divided into attack stage and resting stage for syndrome differentiation and treatment. It is believed that the main pathological factor of epilepsy attack stage was phlegm epilepsy,so the treatment should resolve phlegm and extinguish wind to stabilize the epilepsy. The patient was given modified Ditan Decotion (涤痰汤),combined with herbs of calming the liver,arresting convulsion and stabilizing epilepsy. During the resting stage,the pathogenesis was the spleen and kidney deficiency,malnutrition of heart and mind. The patient was given regulating and supplementing the spleen and kidney to consolidate the root,nourish blood and calm the heart for tranquillization. Kebao Lisu Decoction (可保立苏汤) was frequently used. And mild drugs should be adopted to avoid impairing vital qi.
