摘要
高则豪导演的影片《杀瓜》改编自董立勃的同名短篇小说,电影在小说的基础上做了别具匠心的改编。一方面,乡土底层社会善恶交织的复杂生态,使得小说中决绝的现实批判在电影中显得虚弱不堪;另一方面,电影在小说的基础上增添了对于社会规矩弊端的反思,然而在反思与解构规矩的同时,电影也在表彰与颂扬践行规矩的人。改编后的电影呈现出了犹豫不决的言说形态,这背后蕴含的则是一种宽广复杂与尊重多样可能性的新型叙事伦理。
Gao Zehao’s film To Kill a Watermelon is adapted from Dong Libo’s short story of the same name,and the film is made with an ingenious adaptation based on the novel.On the one hand,the complex ecology of good and evil at the bottom of the local community makes the realistic criticism in the novel seem weak in the film;on the other hand,the film adds the reflection on the malpractice of social rules on the basis of the novel.However,while reflecting and deconstructing the rules,the film also recognizes and praises those who practice the rules.As a result,the adapted film presents a hesitant form of expression,which is followed by the new narrative ethics with broad complexity and respect for diverse possibilities.
