Glorious Model of Economic Cooperation in Soviet Areas——Based on Mao Zedong’s Investigation of Caixi Township

土地革命战争时期,面临国民党当局的军事“围剿”和经济封锁,为了解决劳动力紧缺、剪刀差、谷贱伤农等严峻问题,才溪苏区先后创立了全苏区第一个劳动合作社、闽西苏区第一个消费合作社以及粮食合作社、犁牛合作社等互助合作组织。它们把全乡的经济生活组织起来,有力地促进了生产的恢复和发展,改善了群众的生活,使才溪得以最大人力、物力支援革命战争,成为“全苏区第一个光荣的模范”,为中国革命做出了特殊贡献。

Due to the military siege and economic blockade by the Kuomintang authorities,severe problems such as labour shortages,prices scissors and low prices for grain hurting the peasants appeared in Caixi Soviet area during the period of the Agrarian Revolution War. In order to solve these problems,mutual cooperative organization had been successively established,such as the first labor cooperative in the whole Soviet area,the first consumption cooperative in the Western Fujian Soviet area,and grain cooperatives,plough cooperative etc. They organized the economic life of the whole township,strongly promoted the recovery and development of production, improved the lives of the masses. Thus Caixi was able to support the revolutionary war with maximum manpower and resources and became the first glorious model of the Soviet union. It made a special contribution to the Chinese revolution.
