作为《红楼梦》重要女主人公之一的薛宝钗,其身上笼罩着许多谜团。通过详细分析曹公原文和脂批,解读其进京确实是为了参加“选秀”的目的及选秀失利之谜;在无缘宫闱后,薛宝钗默认了元妃的指婚,逐渐对宝玉产生了爱情,并步入了短暂的琴瑟相合的婚姻生活,但却又因其早年埋在宝玉心中的“禅机”和当下那一番番“立身扬名”的说教,使得宝玉最终弃她而去,落得个空闺独守、终身寂寞的悲剧人生。

Xue Baochai,one of the important heroines in a dream of red mansions,is covered with many mysteries. Through the detailed analysis of cao's original text,the author interprets her purpose of entering Beijing to participate in the "draft" and the mystery of his failure in the draft. After then,Xue Baochai defaulted the picked marriage by the princess,and generated love to Baoyu,and entered into brief harps of marriage,but also because of "zen" early buried in the heart of Baoyu and the exemplum of gain fame and position,makes Baoyu finally abandoned her and end up empty and lonely tragedy life.
