摘要
新中国成立初期(1949—1956),党和政府重视通俗读物的出版发行工作,通俗读物得以大量出版。当时的通俗读物可分为政策宣传类和科学普及类两大种类。通俗读物在城乡图书市场销量极高,连环画和年画深受群众喜爱。通俗读物的出版和发行激发起各阶层民众的阅读热情,促进了全民阅读的形成。
During the early days of New China(1949-1956), the Party and government attached importance to the publication of popular books and prompted popularized reporting guidelines. Popular books such as policy propaganda and science popularization are published in large quantities. At the same time, comic strips and New Year pictures are deeply loved by the masses. The publication of popular books aroused the enthusiasm of people and promoted the formation of national reading.
