Quality Evaluation and Analysis of Influencing Factors of Open Access to Sci-tech Journals

科技期刊开放获取(Open Access,OA)的某些弊端正在逐步显现,一些未经同行评审和编辑加工的OA期刊大行其道,极大地影响了期刊的质量与声誉。因此,拟采用定量与定性分析相结合的方法,对我国科技期刊开放获取的质量评价体系及影响因素进行深入探讨,研究表明:期刊来源指标、期刊被引指标以及网络影响力指标是影响科技期刊开放获取质量的三大主要因素,其中期刊被引指标对科技期刊开放获取质量的影响最大,期刊来源指标影响次之,网络影响力指标最低;载文量、基金论文比、引文平均数、平均机构数等14个指标均对科技期刊开放获取的质量具有一定影响,其中期刊影响因子、基金论文比、被引用总数影响较大,PR值、被引半衰期、页面访问量、载文量影响较小。

Some drawbacks of open access to sci-tech journals have gradually emerged. Some OA journals which have not been peer reviewed and edited are popular,which greatly affects the quality and reputation of journals. Therefore,this paper intends to discuss the quality evaluation system and influencing factors of open access to sci-tech journals in China by combining quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results show that the source index,citation index and network influence index of journals are the three main factors affecting the quality of open access to sci-tech journals,among which the citation index of journals has the greatest impact on the quality of open access to sci-tech journals,followed by journal source index,while network impact index is of the lowest influence. Fourteen indicators,such as the amount of papers published,the ratio of fund papers,the average number of citations and the average number of institutions,all have a certain impact on the quality of open access to sci-tech journals. Among them,journal impact factor,the ratio of fund papers and the total number of citations have relatively greater impact;while PR value,half-life of citation,page view and the amount of papers published have smaller influence.
