新加坡高等教育发展历程对建设我国高等教育强国的启示

An Analysis of the Development of Higher Education in Singapore and its Reference to the Construction of China’s Higher Education Power

短短几十年,新加坡由一个贫穷落后的弹丸岛国发展成为一个世界排名居前的发达国家,与其务实的教育体制,特别是高等教育水平的提高密切相关。新加坡独特的教育体制培养了大批推动国家高速发展的精英人才,吸引了来自世界各地的优秀人才来新加坡工作、学习,可持续推动新加坡的社会经济发展,使新加坡已成为真正意义上的教育中心,兼具东西方文化与智慧,也迅速成为亚洲乃至世界教育强国。从不同角度审视新加坡教育制度及高等教育发展状况,可以为我国高等教育改革发展、加快教育强国建设提供借鉴。

In just a few decades,Singapore has grown from a poor and backward projectile island to a world ranking developed country,which is closely related to its pragmatic education system,especially the improvement of higher education levels. Singapore's unique education system has trained a large number of elite talents who have promoted the country's rapid development,attracted outstanding talents from all over the world to work and study in Singapore,and to promote sustainably Singapore's socio-economic development,and made Singapore an educational power in Asia and the world. This paper examines the development of Singapore's education system and higher education from different perspectives,and provides a reference for the development of higher education reform in China and accelerating the construction of educational power.
