摘要
麻省理工学院不仅拥有无可比拟的科研实力和学术声誉,还致力于构建卓越的本科教育体系,形成了具备鲜明特征的教学助理制度。在岗位职责上面向不同性质和指向的岗位需求,明确教学助理三种不同类型的职责;在培训机制上采用学徒制、教学助理工作坊、中心活动和集中训练营等多种教学助理培训形式,并提供齐全的配套资源和措施;在选拔任用机制上既注意协调多个机构管理界限,又建立了密切联系实际的选拔机制和面向差异化需求的任用机制;在评价机制上关注在线评价系统的开发、标准化的内容设计、实时响应的功能设置和人性化的评价结果处理,以确保教学助理评价的客观公正。
MIT has not only the incomparable scientific research strength and academic reputation, but also the commitment to the outstanding undergraduate education, forming a distinctive teaching assistant system. Three different types of responsibilities are clearly defined for teaching assistants. The training mechanism includes apprenticeship, teaching assistant workshops, center activities and intensive training camps with complete supporting resources and measures. In the mechanism of selection and appointment, they coordinate different managing faculties and establish a mechanism taking care of both the practical needs and diversified demands. Furthermore, the evaluation mechanism takes full advantage of on-line evaluation, designing standardized content, real-time response and humanized mode in handling the evaluation results.
