The overall situation treatment of smelting wastewater is reviewed.The pollution characteristics of copper smelting wastewater and the comprehensive treatment methods are introduced.Combined with the engineering practice of the comprehensive treatment of waste water in a copper smelter, the process, index and reuse of wastewater treatment are described, in order to provide reference for the comprehensive utilization of water resources and the continuous development of the smelting road in the copper smelting industry of China.
