This paper expounded the current situation of the air separation cold box with exceeding the operation deadline and de. clining of internal cold insulation effect in a petrochemical company,analyzed factors affecting the dryness of cold box insulation ma. terials, updated and reformed the installation layout of the sealed gas supply system, and realized the upgrading and optimization of the sealed gas supply system of the cold box by taking advantage of the opportunity of overhaul of the unit.
