In order to meet the needs of safe and reliable operation of power system,information network technology plays an increasingly important role in power management. Although the automatic control system greatly improves the monitoring efficiency and quality,it also generates certain security risks. Therefore,the secondary security protection of power monitoring system is of vital importance. Based on the necessity and characteristics of secondary safety protection of power monitoring system,the author discusses the protection points and specific strategies,hoping to improve the safety of power system operation.
