计算机辅助翻译(CAT)技术的发展给翻译领域带来了前所未有的变革。掌握CAT技术是当今翻译从业人员必不可少的职业技能,也是市场上绝大多数翻译公司的硬性要求。普及CAT知识、让学生熟练使用CAT工具是高校培养应用型翻译人才的重要环节。本文探讨了把CAT引入高校翻译课堂的必要性以及如何利用基于CAT的翻译教学实训系统对地方本科院校的翻译课堂教学进行改革。

The development of computer-aided translation (CAT) technology has brought unprecedented changes to the field of translation. Mastering CAT technology is an indispensable professional skill for today’s translation practitioners and a hard requirement for most translation companies on the market. Popularizing CAT knowledge and making students proficient in using CAT tools is an important part of cultivating applied translators in universities. This paper explores the necessity of introducing CAT into college translation course and the way to use CAT-based translation teaching system to reform the teaching of translation course of local undergraduate colleges.
