This paper scientifically analyzes the actual needs of assistive aids for the elderly and the disabled in China, forecasting the market scale. In view of the current situation and problems of the industry, it puts forward some suggestions on the establishment of the social welfare service system for the assistive aids for the elderly and the social security service system of the assistive aids for the disabled.
