On the Aesthetic Relation between Functions of Clothing and Fashion

服装的功能随着时尚的发展不断变化,同时也深受审美的影响。本课题通过对服装功能的梳理和对时尚内涵的剖析,探讨两者之间的审美关联,以期进一步了解大众审美的发展方向,开展现代性审美与审美现代性的哲学思辨。

Clothing has been labeled as a representation of fashion. The functions of clothing, while changing with the development of fashion, has been restricted by aesthetics. Fashion seems to have monopolized aesthetics and restricted people’s aesthetic freedom. Therefore, clothing, from its original function to the restriction of fashion, is indicative of the chaotic orderliness in social reality.
