“李子崇”考

On “Li Zichong”

《淳化阁帖》收录了汉代至隋唐的珍贵法帖,共十卷。对于其宋本的流传,李子崇是一位重要的人物,可是学术界对其人却一无所知。其实,李子崇即明代万历年间颍州(今安徽阜阳)士人李先事(?—1578),字子崇,号绍欧,相貌俊美,才华富赡。考其家世,其父李增进士出身,仕至济宁州知州。李先事交游多颍州名士,其中包括后来仕至太子太保、兵部尚书的张鹤鸣。由于早逝且无后,李先事的创作大都失传,今所见者仅六首诗而已。

Chun Hua Ge Tie,altogether ten volumes,includes precious calligraphic works from the Han Dynasty to the period of the Sui and Tang dynasties.As for the spreading of its Song version,Li Zichong was an important figure,but he is not known to the present academic circle.In fact,Li Zichong was Li Xianshi(?-1578),a scholar of Yingzhou(nowadays Fuyang,Anhui)in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty,styled Zichong,also known by his literary name Shao'ou,good-looking and full of wit.His fatherwas Li Zeng,a jinshi(a highest candidate for the imperial examination),manistrate of Jiningzhou.Li Xianshi associated with many famous scholars of Yingzhou,including Zhang Heming,the later Crown Prince Taibao and Minister of War.Li Xianshi died early and had no children,so most of his works were lost,and only six poems are known nowadays.
