史料价值可以分为基本价值和特有价值。真实是史料的基本价值,而特有价值则看其满足历史研究具体问题需要的程度,故而才衍生出史料价值大小高低的差异。新史料是历史研究领域以前未曾发现的史料,其发现推动了历史研究的进展,但往往也出现了重视新史料、鄙弃旧史料的偏颇。新旧史料的地位应是平等的,价值大小不应以新、旧论,二者之间的关系应该是互动互补的。

The value of history data can be divided into basic value and unique value.Reality is the basic value of historical materials,while the unique value depends on the extent to which it meets the needs of historical research.Therefore,the difference in the value of historical materials is derived.The new historical materials are historical materials that have not been discovered in the field of historical research.Their findings have promoted the progress of historical research,but they often have the bias of attaching importance to new historical materials and abandoning old historical materials.The status of new and old historical materials should be equal.The relationship between the two should be interactive and complementary.
