Nixing pottery, one of the four famous categories of pottery, is produced in Qinzhou, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. We explore the decoration culture of Nixing pottery from multiple perspectives, not just the decoration on the surface of Nixing pottery wares, but also the change and development of Nixing pottery, geographical environment, lifestyle, commodity circulation and economy, material technology, profound social change, etc. Those are the factors affecting the evolvement of the decoration in Nixing pottery. The study of decoration culture of Nixing pottery would provide certain reference for the development of Nixing pottery.
