Network Culture and Lack of Responsibility: Contemporary Value of Confucian Responsibility Ethics

随着互联网时代的到来,人类传统的交往方式发生了翻天覆地的变化,人与人在交往之中所建立的信任与责任伴随着交往对象的虚拟化而逐渐缺失。儒家责任伦理主张以“修身慎独”建立对自我的责任,以“仁者爱人”建立对他人的责任,以“贵和尚公”建立对社会的责任。儒家责任伦理丰富的责任内涵与伦理意蕴,启迪网络时代的人们以“自省”“克己”“践履”填补网络虚拟,回归至善自我;以“孝悌”“忠恕”“守礼”建立和谐人际,自觉关爱他者;以“修己安人”“明分使群”“求同存异”破除个人至上,实现社会担当。

With the advent of the Internet era,the traditional way of human communication has undergone tremendous changes.The trust and responsibility established by people in the process of communication are gradually missing with the virtualization of the objects of communication.Confucian responsibility ethics advocates self-responsibility based on“self-cultivation and self-care”,responsibility for others based on“benevolence and love”,and responsibility for society based on“nobility and justice”.Confucian responsibility ethics has rich responsibility connotation and ethical implication,which enlightens people in the network era to fill the virtual network with“self-reflection”,“self-restraint”,“practice”and return to the best self;to build harmonious interpersonal relationship with“filial piety”,“loyalty and forgiveness”,“courtesy”and consciously care for others.To break the personal supremacy and realize the social responsibility by“cultivating oneself and restoring people”,“clearly making the group”and“seeking common ground while reserving differences”.
