摘要
自闻一多《现代诗抄》之后,西南联大诗人俞铭传在汉语学界长期处于沉寂状态。而早在1940年代,他已引起西方学者的关注,并被当作是“中国诗人中最为年轻的一代”和“最具希望的诗人”加以译介,其多首作品在英语世界流传。俞铭传得以在海外传播虽有各种内外因素,但究其根本,还在于他诗歌写作的“世界性”。俞诗的“世界性”主要表现为语言符号的跨界性;意象与典故的跨文化性;抒情方式的客观化与非个人性;叙述模式的东方与西方、科学与人文的对话性。探讨俞铭传诗歌的传播,不仅有助于我们重新发现这位现代诗人的文学史意义,也为我们思考中国文学与世界文学的关系提供了一定的参考与启示。
As a poet from the National Southwest Associated University,Yu Mingchuan had been silent in the Chinese academia for many years after the publication of Modem Chinese Poetry edited by Wen Yiduo.Early in 1940s,he was introduced into the west as the most promising poet and representative of the youngest generation of Chinese poets and many of his poems were popular in English world.Among the various factors that contributed to the spread of his poems abroad in other countries,the most important is the universality in his poetry.This character was reflected in the trans-linguistic symbols,trans-cultural images and allusions,objectified and impersonal poetic lyricism,and the complex narrative patterns,etc.To discuss the spread of his poems can not only help us to reevaluate his important position in the history of literature,but also provide us with some inspiration to discuss the relationship of Chinese literature and world Literature.
