Technology status and development trend of domestic comber were discussed.The latest technology highlights of domestic comber design were described.130° wire face angle cylinder was adoptted,carding area was increased 45% and number of cylinder needle was increased more than 60%.It was pointed out that comber was more efficient by adoppting domestic automatic roll change,cotton lap joint system and intelligent cotton lap handling system.Development and application of cotton type chemical fiber comber were introduced in detail.It is considered that higher speed,higher efficiency,energy saving and intelligence are development trends of domestic comber.
