From“Aiwan Pavilion”to“Xiangjiang Pavilion”——Reflection on the Design of“Xiangjiang Pavilion”in Phalen Park,USA

“湘江亭”为长沙市赠送给圣保罗市仿长沙岳麓山爱晚亭的1:1大小的亭子。亭是传统园林建筑中最具代表性和最灵活的建筑。亭之为名亭,依比例、尺度、韵致及色调等取胜,更在于建筑文化内涵。建好一个亭,涉及到选址,选材,安装,环境配套,彩绘,植物烘托等多种园林技艺,需要设计师有综合的能力。本文通过湘江亭的设计过程与遇到问题的总结,介绍在境外设计项目中,如何在巨大的文化差异下,通过园林对结构,材料,工艺的把握来解决技术问题,让来自于长沙的爱晚亭,成为融入明州特色与文化的湘江亭,为在“一带一路”的背景下让更多的设计项目走出国门提供借鉴。

Xiangjiang Pavilion is a city presented that Changsha give to Sat. Paulo, which is 1:1 size as Aiwan Pavilion at Yuelu mountain. Pavilion is the most representotive and flexible building in Chinese traditional garden. A pavilion become to a famous pavilion, because of the good ratio scale, size, charm ond color.
