This paper takes the Baisha Reservoir Project in Jiangkou County as an example to analyze how to protect drinking water source protection areas in the EIA. This paper discusses the early intervention and engineering design of EIA. It aims to provide theoretical and practical reference for relevant staff and minimize the impact of project construction on water source protection areas.
