In order to protect water resources, reduce water pollution and improve the status quo of black and odorous water bodies, the requirements of sewage discharge standards are constantly improving, and sewage treatment plants need to be upgraded to meet the new standards. This paper expounds the principle of MBBR process and analyzes the application of MBBR process in wastewater treatment reform in combination with practice. It aims to save the time of wastewater treatment retrofitting, capital and other costs, effectively carry out wastewater treatment and improve water quality.
