3D打印是一项新型的数字化制造技术,被学术界称为增材制造。其主要是利用计算机中记录的数据,再通过材料逐层堆积的方法制造出实体物品的一项新型技术。这项技术主要源于20世纪80年代的快速成型技术,是制造技术的重大的突破和飞跃,它将信息数据技术与制造技术融合在一起形成了一种新兴的数字化制造技术,里面综合应用了激光技术、数字技术、光化学技术等多种方面的技术。

3 D printing is a new type of digital manufacturing technology,which has been used as an additional material manufacturing by academia. It is a new technology that makes use of the data recorded in the computer and then accumulates the material layer by layer to produce physical objects. This technology is mainly derived from the rapid prototyping technology in the 1980 s,which is a major breakthrough and leap in manufacturing technology. It integrates information and data technology with manufacturing technology to form a new digital manufacturing technology,which integrates laser technology,digital technology,photochemistry technology and other technology.
