Approaches to Self-competence Promotion of Young Editors at SciTech Journals in New Media Age

新媒体时代青年编辑是编辑队伍的主力军,对科技期刊的可持续发展起着决定性作用。该文探讨了科技期刊青年编辑在编辑素养、获取新信息、新媒体技术、英文编译和阅读能力、时间管理、心态调整等方面提升自我能力的途径,充分利用自身优势以弱化劣势,使自身优势在编辑工作中发挥最大化,进一步提高科技期刊的核心竞争力。

Young editors are the main force of editing groups in the new media age, and they have decisive effects on the sustainable development of SciTech journals. In this paper, we discussed approaches to promoting young editors' self-competence at SciTech journals from editing quality, new information acquisition, new media technology, English editing, translating and reading abilities to time management and psychological adjustment, in order to make good use of their respective advantages to promote the core competitiveness of SciTech journals while minimizing their own weaknesses.
