This article introduces the design criteria for the flexible dolphin of British maritime works standards, summarizes the design methods and procedures, and uses P-Y curve method and SAP 2000 finite element software to design and analyze the single pile flexible berthing pile structure in connection with an expansion project of an oil wharf abroad, which provides a reference for marine engineers.
