Summary of " Shanghai Sachets Competition 2019"

香囊又名香袋、花囊,它是古代劳动妇女创造的一种民间刺绣工艺品,是以男耕女织为标志的古代农耕文化产物,是越千年而余绪未泯的传统文化的遗存和再生。香囊内装有白芷、艾叶、辛夷、薄荷、冰片等中药香料,药粉细腻、药味醇芳,意味悠长。香囊有各种刺绣图案,或工整绢秀,或雅艳相宜,各种纹理图案寓意吉祥,袋下一般垂长穗,取"长岁"之意。

In order to further spread the excellent national culture of sachet making, carry forward the traditional Chinese crafts, enhance the cultural literacy of the citizens and build a platform for the public to display, exchange and learn the sachet artworks, Shanghai Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center and Shanghai Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Association jointly organize "Masters' Ingenious Wisdom―Shanghai Sachets Competition 2019”.
