埃里克·邦特,法国玻璃雕塑艺术家。他的作品遍及全世界,数量之多,体量之大,创作之华丽,举世无人出其右。他在非洲科特迪瓦共和国的亚穆苏克罗大教堂完成了全世界体量最大的彩色镶嵌玻璃窗与穹顶,由上百万片玻璃构成,总面积达到8,400平方米,历时18个月。本该尽享"光之神"桂冠荣耀的他,在本次"由爱而生,从自由觉醒:埃里克.邦特的玻璃灵魂展"中却努力刻画出另一个深刻的世界。
"Born from Love Roused by Freedom: Eric Bonte Glass Maverick Solo Exhibition" strives to portray another profound world. 32 new glass art sculptures no longer radiate brilliant colors or obey the established rules of colorful drawing. Instead, these exhibits show off unconstrained style, which are abstract, distorted, fragmented and faded without dazzling colors. Colors return to brightness of gold, purity of translucency and darkness of land. This solo exhibition vividly discloses the artist Eric Bonte’s great soul brimming with love and freedom.
