For the malfunction of a controllable pitch device, the possible causes are analyzed from the aspects of electronic control system, hydraulic system and mechanical parts. The actual fault investigation is carried out based on the analysis. The gradual investigation is carried out and it is determined that the cause of the fault exists in the hydraulic one-way valve.
