在许多的发达国家,他们的城市生态绿化已经有了很长时间的发展历史,比如德国著名的鲁尔区绿道和美国东海岸绿道。最近几年,我国城市的现代化建设有了很大的进步和发展,一些比较开放和经济比较发达的一线城市也对城市生态绿道进行了建设,先后开始了对城市生态绿道的建设,不但发挥了更好的生态价值,还依据园林景观的规划设计对城市附近的一些风景区和旅游观赏区进行了改革,为城市带来了新的经济利益,推动了城市的发展和进步。
