“九合一”选后民进党派系地方版图消长及其影响分析

An Analysis of the Changes of the DPP Factions’ Local Landscape and Their Influence after the “Nine-in-One” Election

2018年台湾地区“九合一”选举虽然只是一场地方选举,但其重要性却不言而喻。作为民进党执政当局的重要期中考,“九合一”选举对民进党及其派系政治生态之发展将产生重大影响。长期以来,民进党派系皆将地方执政县市视为其培养人才、壮大派系实力的重要根据地。此次“九合一”选举,民进党惨败,执政县市由之前的13个跌至6个,对于民进党派系而言自然是非常严重的挫折。随着民进党派系在地方经营版图的急剧减少,派系的博弈重心重回台北,聚焦在执政资源的争夺上,因而加剧了民进党派系之间的内斗。

Although the “Nine-in-One” local election in 2018 in Taiwan is only a local election its importance is self -evident.In fact as an important midterm exam for the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) the election will natu rally have a major impact on the development of the political ecology of the DPP and its factions.Over a long period of time the DPP factions have regarded the local ruling counties and cities as an important base for cultivating talents and expanding their forces.However the DPP ended in a complete fiasco in this election with the previous 13 ruling municipalities and counties falling to only 6.With the drastic reduction of their local landscape the game emphasis of the factions has now re turned to their political center Taipei focusing on scrambling for ruling resources which has also led to intensity of the struggle between the DPP factions.
