晚清七十年是中国慈善事业由传统向近现代转型的关键时期。由于当代中国对于慈善事业的高度关注以及学界研究的进一步深入,晚清慈善研究在近十年取得了重要发展。但是,目前研究主要集中在慈善人物、慈善组织和机构、慈善活动、宗教慈善、地域慈善、慈善与媒体关系等方面,仍存在研究主题不平衡、研究方法较为单一等问题。下一步需要强化慈善史料搜集整理,拓展现有研究内容和范围,创新研究方法。

The seventy years of the late Qing Dynasty were a critical period for the transformation of Chinese philanthropy from tradition to modern times. As a result of the high concern to philanthropy in contemporary China and the further in-depth research of academia,the study on the charity of late Qing Dynasty has made significant progress in the past ten years. However,the current research mainly focuses on charitable figures,charitable organizations and institutions,charitable activities,religious charity,regional charity,charity and media relations. There are still some problems such as imbalance of research topics,singleness of research methods and so on. What needs to be done next is to strengthen the collection and collation of philanthropic historical materials,expand the existing research content and scope,and bring innovation to research methods.
