Ethnogenesis as History:Taking Siberian Ethnicity Evolution As A Case Study

本文试图运用列夫·古米列夫(LevGumilev)所提出的民族形成理论~①,探究俄罗斯西伯利亚族群演进过程,目的在于能够更好地理解政治历史学及其相关问题。这一讨论并非创新,但以西伯利亚原住民文化及其与俄罗斯民族之间的互动为例证,这一途径似乎还从未有人做过。该讨论有助于更好地从最基本的族群理论的立场去了解历史性与族群性之间的相互关系。

This paper attempts to apply ethnogenesis theory first proposed by Lev Gumilev to better understandpolitical history and related problems. This approach is by no means innovative, but taking aboriginal cultures of Southern Siberia, their development and interaction with Russian ethnos as an illustration is something that appears to have never been done before.This contributes to better understanding of the correlation between historical and ethnical realms as seen from the standpoint of the mostbasic ethnos theories.
