《红梅记》与唐人小说

A Legend of Red Plums and the Tang Novels

历来认为明人周朝俊的传奇名作《红梅记》本于元人小说《绿衣人传》的看法并不确切,周朝俊所接受的影响更多的是来自唐人小说尤其是唐人婚恋小说。唐人给予《红梅记》的艺术启迪是全方位的,无论是剧作主题思想的设计,还是人物形象的塑造,抑或是才子佳人悲欢离合故事模式的构建,都不难看到唐人婚恋小说的身影。

It has been thought that the well-known work The Red Plum Legend by ZHOU Chaojun in Ming Dynasty was based on the Yuan novel The Person in Green.But this is not correct.The influence on ZHOU was largely from the Tang novels,especially the Tang love stories.The inspiration from Tang Dynasty to The Red Plum Legend was in all aspects.In terms of either design of theme thought,or shaping of figures,or construction of lovers’ sorrows and joys,and separation and reunion,the influence of the Tang love stories’ can be seen.
