汉语方言“锅”义“窝~=”类词的来源——兼论单音节词的混淆形式

On the Source of the Phonetic Form of “Wo” (窝~=)with the Meaning of “Guo” (锅) in Chinese Dialects:with Reference to the Contaminated Form of Monosyllables

赣语、黄孝片江淮官话、潮汕片闽语等存在用“窝=”类词表“锅”义的现象。这些方言早期都使用“镬”类词,北方方言的“锅”类词向南渗透,与本地固有的“镬”类词展开竞争,当地接受了“锅”的韵母和声调,声母用的还是固有的“镬”的形式——零声母或半元音,形成单音节词的混淆形式“窝=”。

It is a common phenomenon of using the phonetic form of “ Wo ”(窝=) to express the meaning of “ Guo ”(锅) in Chinese dialects, including Gan dialect, Jianghuai Mandarin of Huangxiao cluster, and Chaozhou-Shantou dialect. The form of “ Huo ”(镬) was widely used in earlier times in these areas, and then competed with the northern form of “ Guo ”(锅) which spread constantly toward southern dialects. Finally, the contaminated form “ Wo ”(窝=) came into being, which is composed with the final and tone of “ Guo ”(锅) and the initial of “ Huo ”(镬).
