孔子学院英文网站是传播中华文化、促进国际交流的重要平台。考查孔子学院英文网站的语言服务能力,能够全面了解孔子学院的建设与服务现状,从而推动孔子学院英文网站语言服务能力的提升,加快中国文化“走出去”的进程。根据构建的网站语言服务能力评价体系,考察25所美国孔子学院的英文网站发现,美国孔子学院网站的语言服务能力存在很多问题,需通过引入系统生命周期建设理论,兼顾传统与近现代文化元素等途径加以改进。

English websites of Confucius Institutes function as an important platform of spreading Chinese cultures and enhancing international communication. Based on the established language service competence evaluation system of website this paper takes English Websites of 25 American Confucius Institutes as a case study aimed to investigate the websites' language service competence of American Confucius Institutes analyze the problems and seek solutions. Investigation into English websites' language service competence of Confucius Institute can be fully acquainted with the current status of Confucius Institutes' establishment and services as well as improve the service competence of such websites which helps to speed up the process of Chinese culture going global.
