The Cultural Shift of Documentary Production in the Context of Consuming Culture

摘要 当下纪录片生产烙上了消费文化的鲜明特征,呈现出设计故事、定制内容、类别跨界、类型混搭、纪实概念泛化等特点,消费方式主要表现为粉丝经济、符号消费,风投、众筹等多种投融资方式加速纪录片产业发展。纪录片产品形态和内涵发生了相应变化,如体量轻小、感官沉浸、享乐欲望诱劝等,导致纪录片生命周期缩短、文化价值衰减,文化的工业式处理致使能指漂浮与所指离散等文化后果。 Nowadays, the documentary production is branded with the distinctive characteristics of consumer culture, which presents the features of design story, customized content, category crossing, type mixing, documentary concept generalization, etc. Consumption mode is mainly represented by fan economy and symbol consumption. The development of documentary industry has been accelerated by various investment and financing methods such as venture capital crowd funding. The form and connotation of documentary products have also undergone corresponding changes, such as light weight, immersion of senses, seduction and persuasion of hedonic desire. As a result, the documentary life cycle is shortened, the cultural value is attenuated, and the industrial processing of culture eventually leads to the cultural consequences such as the floating of the signifier and the discretization of the signified.
