Underwater Opera

位于美国威斯康辛州的劳伦斯大学决定举办一场名为“呼吸”的特殊音乐会。演出设在了该校健康中心的游泳池里,囊括了舞蹈、打击乐、歌曲、小号、长笛、大提琴、键盘和低音贝司等表演。音乐总监、作曲家洛伦.清.登普斯特说,刚开始他对于这个创意也持怀疑态度。“但我尝试了一下,并且真的成功了。在水下演奏大提琴是我一生中做过的最惊喜的事情之一。”他向媒体表示。

Lawrence University in Wiseonsin announced a musical performance called Breathe. It will be performed in and around the water at the pool in the school's wellness center. There will be dancers, percussi on ists, sin gers, trumpets, a flute, a cello, a keyboardist and a bass player. Composer and musical director Loren Kiyoshi Dempsterwas, at first, very skeptical about the idea."But I tried it, and it actually worked. It's been kind of one of the great surprises of my life that you could play cello underwater.” he told the media.
