论“Jigsaw”教学法在大班教学中的应用 被引量:3

摘要 如何有效提高大班授课效果,一直是困惑作者的一大难题。作者在UBC观察学习期间,有幸接触到了jigsaw教学法,通过一个学期的课堂实践应用,以及结合中国教学实际,与Brett Gilley教授就jigsaw教学法利弊进行了深入探讨。作者认为jigsaw教学法教学理念新颖先进,教学形式灵活多样,教学效果积极高效,一旦引进我校,必将很好地改善我校目前大班授课中存在的问题,极大地提高我校大班授课的教学效果,有力地激发学生参与学习的热情,从而为推进我校教学实践改革,提升教学水平,树立教学品牌贡献微薄之力。 The question of teaching effectiveness containing a large pupil audience has always been an interest to the author. Recently, as a visiting scholar to the University of British Columbia campus in Canada, the author had the opportunity to observe and learn a unique classroom method that could provide a solution to this dilemma, a teaching technique known as the Jigsaw Teaching Strategy . Upon gaining experience with this technique through classroom observation at UBC, in unison with prior teaching knowledge from her work at Chifeng University, the author had an in-depth discussion with Professor Brett Gilley of UBC on the advantages and disadvantages of jigsaw teaching method. As a result of that consultation, the author now considers the jigsaw method as an advanced and novel pedagogic conception because of its flexible and varied teaching forms and positive and efficient teaching effect. If introduced into the classrooms of Chifeng University, this one particular teaching strategy could help begin to alleviate the detrimental effects on learning within large pupil audiences. What's more, one would hope to see it effectively stimulating overall enthusiasm and motivation of students - as well as the teachers - to embrace class participation as a valuable asset in stimulate learning to higher levels, and set higher goals for a sound pedagogical foundation here in Chifeng University.
