Treatment of Diabetes Based on Toxic and Deficiency Theories in Zhuang Medicine

糖尿病是由于胰岛素分泌绝对或相对不足以及靶组织细胞对胰岛素敏感性降低,而引起的一组以糖代谢紊乱为主要表现的内分泌系统疾病。临床以多饮、多食、多尿以及消瘦为主要特征,严重影响生活质量,病死率较高,目前仍未找到彻底根治糖尿病的有效方法,西医主要从健康教育、血糖监测、饮食、运动和药物治疗入手,须长期控制血糖,但长期用药毒副作用明显。近年来,应用传统医药防治糖尿病成为新的研究热点。传统医学对本病有极好的治疗作用,各民族对本病积累了大量的验秘偏方及丰富的防治经验,该研究从古文献及民间文献入手,挖掘、总结历代壮医对糖尿病的认识及防治经验、规律,为进一步研究奠定基础。

Diabetes was a group of endocrine system diseases characterized by disorder of glucose metabolism,which was caused by the absolute or relative deficiency of insulin secretion and the reduction of insulin sensitivity in the target tissue cells.The main clinic characteristics of Diabetes were polydipsia,polyuria and emaciation,which seriously affect the quality of life and caused high fatality rate.No effective cure for diabetes has yet been found.To treat the disease,western medicine mainly started from health education,blood glucose monitoring,diet,exercise and drug therapy.For the treatment,it was very necessary to control blood sugar for a long time,and the long-term medication had obvious side effects.Recently,the application of traditional medicine to prevent diabetes had become a new research hotspot.Traditional medicine had an excellent effect on this disease,and different ethnic groups had accumulated a large number of secret prescriptions and rich experience in prevention and treatment of the disease.This study,starting with the ancient literature and the folk literature,excavated and summarized the experience and laws of the prevention and treatment of diabetes in the past generations,and laid the foundation for further research.
