摘要
空中乘务员需要与外国旅客进行面对面的沟通交流,而禁忌语反映了不同国家在社会、经济、宗教、价值观等方面的差异。空乘人员要做好服务工作,必须掌握不同国家的禁忌语。在空乘工作环境中,中西方禁忌语在疾病、死亡、称谓、隐私、赞美和自谦方面及餐桌礼仪方面的差异最大。因此,空乘工作人员必须明确以上禁忌语分类,并通过替换或委婉回避原则来减少空乘工作环境下的语言误会,提高空乘服务质量,为航空公司带来良好的经济和社会效益。
Flight attendants need to have face-to-face communication with customers from all over the world. However, the taboo words reflect differences in such aspects as society, economy, politics, values, etc. In order to do good job, flight attendants must comprehend taboo words in different countries. In their working environment, taboo words differ greatly in aspects of disease, death, title, privacy, compliment, modesty and table manners. Therefore, it is necessary for flight attendants to know the categories of taboo words and try to reduce linguistic misunderstanding by substituting or avoiding the taboo words for the purpose of providing high-quality service to guests from all over the world and bringing satisfying economic and social benefits to the airline companies.
