析译者图式对翻译理解的影响——以《生与死》的三个汉译本为例

An Analysis of the Effect of Translators’ Schema on Translation Understanding: Taking Three Chinese Translations of Life and Death as Examples

文章从图式理论视角出发,以瓦特·兰德英诗《生与死》为例,分析了杨绛先生、李霁野先生和绿原先生三位译者的翻译认知理解过程。通过比较分析三位译者的汉译本,发现译者图式结构影响了译者的词汇选择、修辞手法的运用和情感表达方式。译者应丰富自身的图式结构,提高翻译理解能力,从而减少翻译偏差。

From the perspective of Scheme Theory, taking three Chinese translations of Walter Savage Landor's Life and Death as examples, this paper analyzes three translators' cognitive understanding process in translating this poem. Through comparing three Chinese translations, separately translated by Mrs. Yang Jiang, Mr. Li Jiye and Mr. Lv Yuan, it has found that translators' schema has great influence on their choice of words, rhetorical devices and emotional expression. It is suggested that translators should enrich their own schema structure to improve ability of understanding in translation, thus minimize translation tolerance.
