The unique geographical factors, relatively stable war situation, the prosperity of publications and the inclusive and open cultural atmosphere made Hong Kong a special and perfect place for Xiao Hong to create her literary works. Xiao Hong's literary works in the periods of Hong Kong present some states: prolific works, homesick subject matters and independent writing style which are related closely with Hong Kong. Unique atmosphere and environment of Hong Kong contributed to her independent creation attitude, which was different from the northeast writers group represented by Xiao Jun. She finally completed the transformation of her writing style and achieved maturity.
