金恩晖先生是改革开放初期我国图书馆学繁荣发展的主要推动者之一。作为我国第二代图书馆学家的优秀代表,他在图书馆学理论、图书馆事业、文献检索、文献整理、工具书编纂以及地方史志等领域,都进行过较为系统的研究,并有重要的研究成果。文章回顾了金恩晖先生的学术贡献和成就,其学术品质值得图书馆从业者学习和传承。

Mr. Jin Enhui is one of the main contributor of the prosperity and development of library science in China in the early stage of reform and opening up. As an outstanding representative of the second generation of library scholars in China, he has conducted systematic research in the fields of library science theory, librarianship, literature search, literature compilation, tool book compilation and local history. He has significant research achievement. This paper reviews Mr. Jin Enhui's academic contributions and achievements, and states that his academic quality is worth to be learned and inherited by library practitioners.
